Can an Infertile Woman and a Woman Waiting for an Abortion Find Common Ground?

raindance_cover_look_insideWhat happens when a Christian woman facing a childless future and a woman seeking an abortion are waiting to see the same doctor?

What if, after that "chance" encounter, they are unable to forget each other?

What if, in spite of their drastic differences, they find themselves drawn together by their surprising similarities?

What if, they somehow find the courage to become friends?

Jonica and Stacie meet in a doctor's office at a critical turning point in each of their lives. Jonica is ending unsuccessful infertility treatments and accepting the death of her dream of having children. Stacie has come to schedule the termination of her pregnancy so she can further her dream of a career in law. As the two young women tentatively reach out to each other, they forge an extraordinary friendship that brings healing to both their hearts and forever transforms their future.

Christian author, Joy DeKok takes the reader into the hearts of these two women as they journey closer to the heart of the One who offers hope and healing.

Editor Review:

This book is a must read for all women. Although it is a fictional story the author has brilliantly captured the many issues that women struggle with and offers hope that can only be found in Jesus. She also shows how looking beyond our own circumstances can bring blessings into our lives and the lives of others. I’ve ministered to broken women for over twenty years and I’m thankful for resources like Rain Dance that will reach women who are hurting and give them hope.
